When I have one layout open I want to be able to go back and forth between layouts. But when I try to open a second layout the other one is closed.
This is not possible but there are two ways to get the same effect:
@Burton Everist A layout "takes over" and displays a specific layout for the whole application. So, you can't have two layouts of the application at the same time. If you want two sets displayed at the same time, consider having a new layout that is set up like @MJ. Smith suggested (with a floating window). There are also other ways to quickly switch between layouts. One of them is dragging your frequently used layouts to the app menu bar, which creates shortcuts and allows to switch with one click.
I think the idea of a single layout with one part floated is the best option, but you can put layouts on the shortcut bar or the Dashboard, and it's pretty quick to switch between them with either.
@Burton Everist - Great suggestion! But short answer is "No", sad to say.
It would be nice "if" we could open a Layout to a floating window on a different monitor such that those of us that have multiple monitors could benefit from having two layouts open at the same time. As it is now, we can open one layout and then open a resource as a floating window, move it to the 2nd monitor and build on it with what we want in that layout. It's a work of a work around.
To be able to open a Layout to a floating window on a different monitor would definitely be a help.
Just my 2 cents. 😎
Hello, I'm a max sub guy with Logos Gold, Library 10. I am not a pastor, a teacher, an administrator of any religious organization. I am a self-taught student of the Word and as much as I can get, thus, "Max Sub".. I think I am over kill though. And I cannot get a clear explanation of what I'd lose if I went to Pro. I do…
I am a Logos 10 full-feature user. I just purchased the Metzger/deSilva book and study guide for Breaking the Code Revised Edition: Understanding the Book of Revelation. The description says it includes a DVD by deSilva. How do I access it on my desktop app?
I am constantly opening up workspaces that I have to turn the paged button off and the interlinear off. Can they be turned off normally and if you want them turned on you can do so?
On mobile (Galaxy S25+) most of my bibles are vs by vs but it takes up 1rd of the real estate. I can't figure out how to fix this. *Update* My friend says on his iPhone he has the same issue and that's why he's not using certain translations cause he don't have a computer to change settings. Here is the difference.
Dear Folk, What are the best biblical and systematic theology resources that consider Seventh-day Adventist perspectives? Thanks, Mike
