Renaming Multiple Tags in a Collection

Hello everyone. I've been using LOGOS almost since the beginning. Over all that time I should have learned how to do simple things.

One of the simple things that I cannot remember or find in the Help (at my desktop and online at LOGOS) is how to rename multiple tags at once in a collection. I've a great number of items in a great number of collections but I simply need to rename multiple tags in only two collections.

For example: rather than showing "Greek Grammar" in a ton of tags in that collection I need to rename those particular ones to "Grammar Greek" to be consistent with tags in my other language collections.

To rename them all one at a time would be so tedious as to cause me to fall asleep or, at the very least, be placed in a coma.

Quid tibi videtur? What thinkest thou?

I'm afraid I'm not quite following what you are asking.

Collections can make use of tags but they aren't places where you define tags - that is done in the Library.

So are you asking if there is a way to change a tag on multiple books in the library at the same time?

Or am I totally missing your point?

In your library, filter for the books you want.
Example: mytag:"Greek Grammar"

Select everything and then add or delete tags. Warning: if you use a tag as a filter, then when you remove the tags, your collection might disappear. Think before you make a change. Add the new tags first and then delete the unwanted tags.

GaoLu had provided superb advice. Please allow me to expand a little. After selecting everything, you can see every tag contained in the selection in the information side panel of Library. You can then simple click "apply to all" to tag everything with the desired tag. Then, and only then, as GaoLu warned, click "delete all" for the tags you desire to remove.
