How many GBs does the Logos Desktop App require to run properly. I'm trying to determine if my Mac Air Laptop can fit another app. Thanks!
The recommended hardware article calls for 60GB of free space.
How much space is actually taken up depends on the number of resources (and other core Logos components) you have as well as what proportion of those are downloaded to your device. So there isn't any general answer to that question.
60 GB free space is misleading because you need at least 20% free space on any disk for efficiency. So add 60 GB to that figure to be sure about installing Logos. i.e. a 250 GB disk would need about 110 GB free space for Logos, and you might get away with only 90 GB free.
60 GB, Wow! I don't have that much space left. Thank you. Very helpful.
Yes, so I am learning. Logos is a large program and well it should be. Thanks!
My Logos 44 application on macOS Sequioa 15.6 has 195 GB in the Logos4 folder: Resource Manager has 153 GB for 45,248 resources. My Logos.com search for Live Base Packages shows 52 results (none English). My LogosIndexer folder has 32 GB with 69 GB free space being enough for Logos 44 application indexing to create a duplicate and supplemental index files.
Concur with @Dave Hooton as 69 GB is 20.7% free space in a 333 GB disk partition (shared by macOS Sequioa 15.6 and macOS Mojave 10.14 boot partitions on a 2019 iMac 5K Retina desktop). Mojave was the last macOS for 32 bit applications.
Keep Smiling 😊

If I use SA and set Zoom to 120%, the next time in it will be back to 100%. Might it be changed to persist to the last setting?
I have the Logos Legacy Edition on my left top portion on the Logos application. I do not understand what this Logos Legacy Edition means? Can anyone from Logos explain this? Thanks. Chiu cetanbsop@gmail.com
So this is very strange and I hope a bug. I am a Verbum/Logos Max subscriber. Banners if off in Settings and in the Dashboard settings, per @Mark Barnes 's note. I really appreciate the new study assistant as far as the AI features in are concerned. I think this is a great advancement and the right direction. The question I have is how much more taxing on the is the study up until now the AI usage was pretty sparse and I rarely if ever used my credit credits, however I can see the…
