Hi everyone,
I’m looking to buy a new laptop mainly for running Logos Bible Software and its library. I want it to run smoothly without lag, even when handling a large library or multiple resources open at once.

Could you please suggest the recommended specs I should look for — such as processor, RAM, storage type/size, and graphics — to get good performance without overspending?

What else will you do with this computer?

For today, if Logos is mainly what you will use, then go for any i5-i7 processor. 16 GB RAM. 1 TB SSD. That should be good for 3-4 years and reasonably fast. Any Graphics available on that kind of machine shouldn't limit you. The price should be middle of the road. That kind of machine is quite easy to find.

Sounds good. I went with an HP 17 when I bought my laptop some time ago, but I took the AMD processor (because we had some issues with intel graphics in the family).
