I have searched through the Mac Keyboard Shortcuts help area, and through the discussion threads and have not been able to find any way to page down as I am reading in a window when I get to the bottom of the window. Am I missing something?
i am a windows user, so i cannot tell you a keyboard method (we have PgUp & PgDn on our keyboards).
But in windows we can hit the spacebar to move to the next page. (it will not take you back a page though).
Also you might want to use the Locator bar which works with the arrow keys (which appears to be on the Mac keyboard).
Hope this helps while you wait on a Mac user to respond.
You can use the function key (fn) with the up and down arrow keys to move up or down a page in one jump.

If the window has focus then hitting the space bar should move you forward one page.
I have added this to the Wiki page of shortcuts.
Thanks for the replies.
Hitting the space bar, or using fn/down arrow has not been working on my Mac. However, due to the replies that it IS working for others, I tried a hunch. I turned off the "enable access to assistive devices" option in the Universal Access preference panel. Voila--the space bar started working!
