Logos file editor

In my opinion, the Logos editor is poor, slow and unreliable, compared to the other tools provided. Expecially the tardess in responding is an unbearable leak by now. Besides, the application crashes often when some "unusual" interaction is performed, like adding hyperlinks or when trying to "follow" a hyperlink (Ctrl+click). Don't you think that it's time to make some effort in this direction?

Welcome to the forums.

I assume you are talking about the text editing function in Logos, particularly in notes. This is largely caused by Logos' choice of WPF/.NET see: http://community.logos.com/forums/p/12877/100502.aspx#100502 Logos has made improvements to how notes work, but there is still much room for improvement, some of which is outside Logos' control (bug fixes/optimization in .Net)

If you can capture a crash with logs and upload them to the forum we might be able to figure out what is happening and fix it.

Yes, I'm talking about the notes. I understand that the chosen technology can be the lag's main cause. However, I hope Logos is doing also all the efforts to minimize the internal causes and keep improving LBS editing functions [;)]: we need them!

I did some looking today via Google regarding NET, WPF and textbox/editor issues. Oh My it's a gargantuan issue for everyone who uses WPF editing components.

I certainly hope that MS gets on the ball with some fixes on their end.
