Label Search anomaly

I get 9 results in 9 verses from label:Personality, but results show only 8 verses

Gen 15:4 has style Red and label Personality was added to the Highlight in the Notes tool (not a Note).

• The Context menu removes the Highlight and label from the Notes tool and bible.
• The Selection menu removes the same Highlight and label from the bible whilst the Notes tool retains the label and removes the style from the Highlight entry
  • the label Search is unaffected whilst a Highlight search (highlight:"My Palette/Red") does not find the style.
  • the Highlight is deleted in the Notes tool and the label search becomes 8 in 8 verses whilst displaying 7 verses:-
• Gen 2:24 has the label defined on a Highlight.
• Gen 3:1 has the label defined on a Note
• Ex 3:2 has the label from a Style that includes the label
• Dan 4:23 has the label from a Style that includes the label
• Dan 11:5 has the label from a Style that includes the label
• Dan 11:6 has the label from a Style that includes the label
• Rom 14:25 has the label from a Style that includes the label
  • the Style for the above 5 verses has the same name as the label.

When I re-add Gen 15:4 as above, the label Search jumps to 10 in 10 verses with 8 displayed!

When deleted via the Section menu the effects are the same as above. When deleted in the Notes tool the label search becomes 9 in 9 verses whilst displaying 7 verses.

Hi, Dave. I think you are saying:

The Selection menu should delete a highlight, not just remove the styling.

For a Highlight with a label, select the resource text, and choose the remove ⊘ icon the Selection menu.
Expected: The highlight should be deleted. (Or more precisely "highlight-type"note should be deleted.

Actual: The highlight styling that is applied to that text is removed, but the note, including the Label, is not deleted. The is note is still visible in the Notes tool, and the Label still returns results in in Search.

I can reproduce this on Mac, and it seems to be the case even without a label.

I'll write up a case. In the meantime, the best workaround would be to delete those empty notes in the Notes tool.
