The "DATE CREATED" should be locked and UN-EDITABLE. Once Created, no one should EVER be able to change that.
I just had to EDIT all my NOTES in a NOTEBOOK. Critical stuff. EVERY CREATE DATE CHANGED TO TODAY. I am very disappointed.
Could you provide a screenshot … I can't replicate the issue. If I could it is a major problem.
I just tried to attach a pdf file. It won't let me. I don't know how to take a screenshot. But I
You can see the CREATE date in the Note. But the Modified Date is showing up. I modified them today. You can also see the Logos "by Date Created" top right side. My program has always done this for years and multiple different computers all on Windows. Thank
If you hover over a note icon in the Notes Tool, you will see both the created and modified date.
Do the created dates shown match what you would have expected?
Ah, Graham answered before I was back … as he said, what you are seeing is not the creation date. You need to use mouse over.
Thanks but…. I see your pic.
I have over 900 Notes in this Notebook. The Modified Date I find no value in. The data is like a Diary. A database table should remain where I choose or select its Sort Order and leave it there until I change it.
I want, need this order of Notes to stay in Created Date and show up in the index as I scroll down through it.
Computer Engineers build things for Engineers, not 78 yo grampas.
BTW, that should apply to a lot of the lists in Logos. Like the order of Notebooks, Sermons, and Passage Lists. The computer program should NEVER decide its order. Leave it where I choose it to be. Please
You can set the Notebook to be sorted by Created Date - but this doesn't affect the date / time shown (without mouse over) - that is still modified date.
