Get Started card

I accidentally closed the "What would you like to do today?" card and cannot get it back. Normally, it appears as an option when the Plus icon is pressed in the "Show" section with the name "Get Started Wizard." However, the only thing that appears there is the "Help Center Card."

Likewise, I have lost the card that allowed me to set my top bible. The card does not reappear even though I have removed all prioritized resources.

Perhaps there is a hidden toggle I am missing?

Hm. I don't know of any other settings that control this tile. For me, the entry under the plus sign toggles it off and on, as should be.

Yes, that is where it is supposed to be, as I said. But it is not there, so how do I get it back?

The version of Logos is 44.2.10 Legacy Edition (non-subscription).

Missing Get Started Wizard
Presented as Legacy Edition

It sounds like the software is acting as though you don't have a subscription. (You might be missing other features as well; for example, Bible Study Builder in the Tools menu.) I can see that you have a Max subscription that is active until 2026, but for some reason, the software doesn't seem to know that.

My best guess is that you are signed in to Logos with a different account. If you look on the lower left of the application for your profile image, does it have the same picture as your profile here on the forums? Click on the profile image to open the account menu and switch accounts.

If you have two accounts that need to be merged, give customer service a call to help with that.

My apologies. I should have been more clear. Yes, my main account is a Max subscription and I have no problem with it. The Get Started Wizard card works fine. My posts here have been under this main account.

I have another account that I use when I demo the program to students who are not subscribers. That way, what they see me doing is precisely what they see. I am trying to avoid the different look of the Subscription and Legacy versions. For example, when I do a search, and they do a search, the results should look the same. Or when I open a Bible, the icons in the panel are what they see, instead of the new tab system. That demo account is Logos 44.2.10 Legacy Edition (non-subscription). It is this legacy account where the Get Started Wizard disappeared.

Similarly, the card to choose the preferred Bible has also disappeared. It was there, I selected my top Bible, and now the card is gone. Even if I manually remove ALL prioritized resources, it does not come back. I thought I had read that it was supposed to appear if no Bible had been picked.

I do not want to merge the accounts because that would defeat the idea of using the second account for demonstration purposes.

Again, my apologies for not being clearer on which account had the problem.

There are some features that allow limited free use, but I don't think this card fall into that category. We may unlock it for everyone in the future, but at least for now, the Get Started Wizard is only for subscribers.

I'm afraid this is a limitation of the design. Once that the Top Bible card has been dismissed with the X, there is no way to get it back.

So it short: Sorry… that's just how it works, at least for now.
