I'm a elderly disabled Vet, I live alone and have a 4 legged companion (2 yr old rescue) Lab/Pit mix named Loki. I'm a believer and recently recommitted Baptized on the 17th of August 2025, and I'm a newbie to logos and trying to learn my way around its different options and features. Also new to bible studying, and don't know where to start, and what with. any help would be appreciated as have no idea what the heck to do or what I'm doing. 😊

Dale, its great to hear of your interest in studying God's Word.

There are a number of ways to get a handle on Logos Bible Software and a number of ways to learn to better study the Bible.

If you haven't already checked them out, the tutorials on the Logos web site are very helpful. Look here.

Another great source are some of the Mobile Ed courses. You may have one or more in your Library that would help. DIY Bible Study Videos, LT121, LT 122, and LT123 are all basic courses for beginners.

There are Logos resources that teach how to study the Bible (these don't show you how to do it in Logos but just how to do it. You then must learn how Logos can help you take these steps. Here are a few: Kay Arthur, The Basic Steps of Bible Study and Skip Heitzig, How to Study the Bible and Enjoy It are two I can recommend.

Last you can use something you'll find under the Guides menu in Logos called Workflows. These are step-by-step fill-in guides to studying the Bible. I don't know what you might have in your version of Logos, but check them out.
