For a personal book
@MJ. Smith Logos really does not have much in terms of church fathers in its French language catalog. Anything you can help with in terms of public domain editions (there are many!) in personal book style would be quite helpful to French users.
I'll go looking. My French is very limited - 3 semesters 60 years ago with little use between - so if you found sites of potential pdf sources, it would be helpful. But I will give it a try.
archive.org and gallica.bnf.fr are the usual places.
copilot.microsoft.com or any other capable AI can spot resources and give direct links. I use it all the time with queries like "Is there a French translation of the Talmud" that I can download as a watermark free PDF? Is it a respected translation?
Thank you, MJ Smith.
Still using Verbum 10 on a mac, my desktop Program does not recognize the Format. I just can open the file in a word processor…
Do you get any type of an error message as a clue as to what is wrong. I can find nothing odd in the attribute data but I've been off V10 since early in the beta cycle. Do you have the same problem with the second (Ephrem) file? If so, I'll research how you can convert to an older version of the Microsoft docx.
You are aware that Verbum 10 is no longer supported and that it costs nothing to move up to the current code, I assume. The only technical reason for running the old version is if your operating system will not support the new version.
