Quiet Night on the Forums?

Most of today I have been unable to reply or post.
Has somebody been playing with the servers again?
Nobody said it was bring your child to work day!

There must have been a server issue.

We did some updating of the forums server yesterday morning, but that was over with probably 20 hours before you posted this and there haven't been any server changes since then.
Do you recall what the error was? Unable to reach the reply screen, unable to type text, unable to click the post, no response when the post button is clicked, messages about server problems or something entirely different?
And, since you are posting now, what did you have to do to start posting again? Just close and reopen the browser, log out and back in, or nothing at all?
Thanks,
David

David,
Starting about 11:00 PM EDT last night all replies to posts in the forum were rejected. The two of us were not alone. With the exception of two posts right after midnight EDT there was no activity on the Forum for an hour or longer. I went to bed then so have no idea when service was restored.
It had to be server based or the strangest night on the Forums because of the total lack of posts during the same time I could not reply to posts. I don't think I've ever seen an hour with no posts on any of the forums (I'm not up in the wee hours EDT).

There must definitely have been something going on: when I turned on the computer today (well, yesterday actually, over here), I had about 15 forum posts in my inbox, instead of the usual 80-100. Also, I've had yellow triangles on the sync arrows on and off most of the day.

I think I found a possible cause for the forum post drought. I'll be checking on it tonight/tomorrow as I can to see if it shows up again.
Any sync issues would probably be unrelated as that is separate from the forums.
