As you can see from the video linked below, when in a sermon document the main menu bar with options such as Assistant Preach and Export is hidden. It doesn't seem possible to get it to appear properly and I can only launch preaching mode by tapping at random in the right area.
This has been present for quite a few versions, but I've only just got around to reporting it.
