Last, Joel Baden's Source Criticism. This was very different than I thought; it's less an introduction to the stats quo and more a masterful history of how we got here. He does a fantastic accessible job looking at the intellectual contexts and biases of the field through various points in history for non-specialists. Highly recommended.
