New: Questions to Ask section on Desktop

We’re thrilled to introduce Questions to Ask, a brand-new section in Factbook that makes your study more interactive and engaging than ever.

As you explore topics in Factbook, this new section will show you a list of natural, thought-provoking questions related to what you’re studying. These questions are designed to help you think more deeply about the topic and discover new insights along the way.

When you expand a question, you’ll see a clear, sourced answer powered by Study Assistant, complete with citations and links to the books in your library. You can even jump directly into Study Assistant to continue the conversation and ask your own follow-up questions. All users can view the list of questions and the first answer for free, while access to the remaining answers is available with a Premium subscription and above. AI credits are only spent when you expand a question to view the answer.

Questions to Ask is intended to invite curiosity, spark discovery, and help you see Scripture from fresh angles, all within the already powerful tool that is Factbook.

Yes, there are parts of this that I really like but I can't stop thinking that most 2-year-olds are good at forming questions. Some of the basic understanding questions come across as Logos thinking their customers are brain dead when sandwiched between complex development questions. I would like to see the questions arranged by (a) basic understanding (b) historical development (c ) alternative views (d) theological/ethical implications … or some similar scheme so that one can focus more quickly on questions of potential interest.

This Factbook article is on Baptism.

Under the first question "What does the Bible say about the institution of baptism?" there's a section in the response that says "Additional biblical passages on baptism:", but then it doesn't list any passages. It just moves on to the next paragraph. (See below, I'm using the German interface.)

I am with Martha on the presentation/arrangement of questions, especially (c) alternative views. The article on Jesus' Second Coming handles that with a Q on "different traditions", which is fairly basic.
