I want to search for a greek word in the New Testament and the Septuagint. However i want to se them together in one search and not in different searches. is this possible??
John
You could create a collection of Greek Bibles and search the collection. Do you need information on how to set this up?
John,
If you do a Bible Word Study in Greek, the results show up in both the NT and the Sept....
Yet another alternative!
If you have an English Bible (with reverse interlinear) and a Septuagint open you can right-click on the word you are interested in, choose lemma search and do a "search all open resources".
The results will be presented under each book separately but within the same search window.

yes Jack please
thank you
I am not Jack, but here is a start and he can add his suggestions later, or you can ask questions. This is not the only way, but one way. Open your collections tool and click new at the top left. Then click in the box below that and name it. Then open your library in a tab and type in type:bible lang:greek. Then drag the Greek Bibles you want into the Plus these resources section of your collection tool. Then what I did was enter the greek word in a morph search as an example lemma:logo then the drop down box gave me the choice of λογος, I switched to a basic search without changing the search string and made sure my collection of Greek text was chosen, there may be a more elegant way, but this is the way I did it. that did the trick thanks!
Jerry's solution will work, but it will not be dynamic in that it will not automatically add new Greek Bibles to the collection. Here is a screenshot of my collection.
I added the -title:Comfort to eliminate all the papyri manuscripts from the collection. The other - are to have only true Bibles in the collection. I should not have Theological Dictionary of the New Testament in the Exclude area as it is not type:Bible. At this point, I'm not sure why it was there.
Thanks Jack, I had never made a dynamic collection of Greek texts. I originally created my collection as a reference to use to build a Greek set for the text comparison tool.
Glad to be of help. After you construct the syntax for your collection, you could take a quick look at the result to see if there is anything there you do not want in the collection. If there is, just drag the offender to the "- these resources" field.
