Visual Filter Copy & Paste text to Word

Friends-

I use a visual filter to color-code various verbs in Hebrew/Greek, but then I want to copy the colored text into Word so I can delimit clauses on seperate lines, make notes, and other editing.

(Ideally, I'd do all this with an interlinear or parallel passage table since I'm not quite a sight-reader of ancient languages. but I'd take just Greek or Hebrew if I must)

The "Copy Bible Verses" tool doesn't seem to include a featire for "preserve visual filter" which is where I'd expect it.

I know others have mentioned a JPEG screen capture, or an XPS export, but that's for printing. I want the passage as text, color coded  and ready for editing and annotating.

Any other ideas?

You can just select the text, right click, make sure "Selection" is chosen in the right-hand part of the menu, then choose "Copy" from the left hand side. You can do this in the interlinear mode if you wish, too. Then just paste into Word.

Not all visual filters are copied consistently. I've found that foreground colours are most likely to be retained, but your experience may vary.

I don't seem to be able to do this in Logos 6. I wanted to create a filter that showed "love" in 1 John 4 and differentiate between nouns and verbs.

Root search can be combined with morph search to differentiate between nouns and verbs:

    Hi Steve,

I am having the same problem. It seems most of the answers that are given go back to 2010 or 2014. It is not working in the new version. I was using Logos 10 last week and copied the greek passage just fine into Pages. I updated to the subscription—the newest version— and now the Visual Filters are not coming over into Pages (or Word for those who use that.) It is a bug in the new version. I would really like that back.

    Thank you!
