What can I do with Logos on an iPad and ipad mini?

Aside for an iPhone 4, I've never owned an Apple product. I was wondering what generally can I do with Logos on an Apple product? Will an iPad run all of Logos' offline features or do I need the expensive Mac computer? What will an iPad mini do?

The iPad mini and iPad support the same functionality with different sized screens.

Some features that are available on tablets do require an Internet connection - with functions being performed on Logos servers and the results being returned to the mobile device for display. For example, while basic searches work offline, some more complex search features require an online connection.
