How to search for Accusativus cum Infinitivo constructions

Hello everybody

This is my first post here in the forum.

I've tried several times to figure out how to identify the Accusativus cum Infititivo construction in the Cascadia Syntax Graphs (SBLGNT).

Here's the syntax search I've built:

Could anyone please advise me why it doesn't return any results - or how I should build it correctly to get matches?

I suggest you try something like this

And the key is to ensure you have the Matching skips levels option selected. This tells the search engine to skip over unspecified entities in the search hierarchy. For example, for Matt 6:8, there is a Verbal Function element in the syntax tree which, if you don't specifically include in the search definition, you need to tell the search engine to skip over it

And if you want to get matches irrespective of the ordering of pronouns and verbs, you can use the Unordered item to do that
