Book of the day and bible remove?

Is there any way to remove the "book of the day" and the bible verse that comes up everytime I open the homepage?

I want a clean homepage, clear of any clutter (which is what I think the new newspaper type homepage is all about), and just simple and clean. Is there anyway to customize it the way I want to?

I would like to simply have two columns, with maybe an open bible and commentary side by side. If I want to do other things I will, but the homepage seems to be way to cluttered for me. Anyway, here is a screenshot of what I mean. Even the Bible verse I don't mind up in the upper left, but I can't stand having a "book of the day" there. It's just pointless to me.

Is there a way to make the Bible passage bigger? Basically, what I would like to have for a startup page is an open bible like when you'd type in a passage and hit go in logos 3. Anyway, anyway to get rid of these two things seen in this picture?

Hi Jeremy - and welcome.

Suggest you have a look at http://wiki.logos.com/Home_Page to see how to disable the "home page" (I haven't checked whether this is supported in Mac).

You could then create your own layout (http://wiki.logos.com/Layouts__) with your Bibles or whatever and that should give you what you want.

Currently no - Logos 4 Mac and PC do not have content options to disable Bible Verse and "Book of the Day" - always displayed on home page. If Home Page disabled on startup, Logos 4 starts up with last layout used.
