I can't resist describing a bit of current work on the topic of arrogance (ἀλαζονεία). I used Smart Search (very helpful) and Factbook (also very helpful) and followed word-sense leads and dictionary references. In this research I came across an encyclopedia that made an unintended and humorously arrogant claim about its scope: "It contains over 100,00000,000 bible facts." (sic; from the "info" screen about this book). I may include this quote as part of my report on the pervasiveness of ἀλαζονεία in our daily lives! 😇
