I love how interlinked everything is! I love how I can add a note to a Bible verse and include a link to something like the writings of Josephus. I use λογος eveyday!

I’ve been using Linronix/Logos since the early 90’s. I became a serious user at Logos 4.

As a layperson, I just really enjoy in depth Bible study and Logos has made it so much more fun. The big advantage for me is that I have thousands of books. There is no way that I could have this many books on a bookshelf in my home. I also like that I can make notes and highlights and can hide or delete them if they are not pertinent to my current study.

I love the ability to do generative AI and smart searches based on content I know in my library - both the entire library but even specific books. It is powerful and makes me want to buy books in Logos rather than other eBook platforms.

oh man… I can’t just pick one feature. I’ve found the AI summary, word study, and Insights tab so useful! I love having quick access to reliable resources on the original languages and commentaries.

My favorite tool hasn't been built yet … but a current tool has opened the possibilities for it. For example, the lectionaries open the possibility of a historical ISSL list of texts which opens very possibilities for the development of religion in America. The All the X in the Bible opens the possibilities for more structural analysis like type-scenes, parallelism, chiasms …. The Bible harmonies open possibilities for harmonies with important works such as Jubilees, Book of the Bee, … The sermon manager opens the possibilities for Bible study manager using lectionary, ISSL, denominationally assigned lessons … filters built on morphology can be expanded to include grammatical and semantic roles (clause data) …text can be reformatted to show clause and sentence rather than verses … and early tools e.g. Passage analysis can easily be extended and modernized … Logos has lost sight of the world opened via text visualization …

Favorite feature?? Used to be Passage Guide but is increasingly moving towards the improved Factbook and Smart Search Features. So many to mention, but this is a good start. :)

It is hard to pick one feature, but the advanced search syntax is near the top. Being able to specify the exact spelling and proximity of words has helped a lot in researching. For example, making a query to find insults from Luther, which returned many interesting results!

1. I need to bookmark the community forum. I forget about it all the time and there is a wealth of information in here!

2. I use Logos for everything I possibly can related to Bible study and I would love for it to become my sole home for anything biblical. I buy all my schoolbooks through Logos. I need to get better at it - it has so much more than I even realize. My favorite, and most used by far, feature is Smart Search. There's so many books and sources in my library. While I still probably don't do them justice, Smart Search goes further than I'd be able to on my own.

I’m newer to Logos and just can’t get over having my whole library a click away with a simple search. Most recently I have enjoyed listening to audio books and files through Logos on my phone as I walk for exercise. Really helps my walk to be a more spiritual experience.

My favorite feature is the bible plans. I love how you can generate your own plans! They have nearly every plan available, and you can edit and make your own! I love it! Logos has helped me go into deeper study of the Scriptures, and has really awakened my love for the Word. God Bless you guys!

Too many to choose from, but for now I'll say Layouts. I love being able to manage my tabs without losing anything I was working on. Gotta prep for a group Bible Study? Make a Layout for that. Wanna take a course? Save a Layout with the Recommended Reading you're working through. Need to remember to do your daily Prayers and Reading Plans? Layout!

My favorite feature is the Notes feature. One of the nice features of them is that when you enter a reference to a verse, a link to it is automatically created.

My favorite feature or tool within Logos would be the AI tools and the notes feature that connects back to the Bible directly when quoting Bible verses. The AI tools allow for me to better understand key points and scriptures, and basically allows me to browse samples and summaries of an extremely large library of books and resources without having to have all of those books or resources in my personal library. This is amazing for me as a layperson using Logos for my personal Bible study. I don't have the finances to buy all of those books for my personal collection, but the AI summary tool still allows me to get key questions answered in my studies and better understand Scripture without breaking the bank. Being able to have the Scriptures link back to my preferred Bible has changed my Bible study for the better! Now I'm able to write down key verses and quick link them back to my Bible so I never forget what my notes were referencing. I can always quickly jump there to see what I'm taking notes on. I absolutely love Logos and it has forever changed my Bible studies! I love how there are affordable options for people just studying the Bible from home, and that I don't have to be a pastor or studying seminary in order to take advantage of the amazing tools Logos has to offer.

Hard to pick a favorite, but I would have to go with the “replace with passage” feature that Morris showed me years ago. It’s kind of hidden, but has been a game changer!

My favorite feature or tool within Logos is the scan isbn number tool. The reason for this is that I am a missionary in Thailand. I am not able to carry all of my books with my when I come back but I am able to scan my books so that I can search and reference books that I know I have read but can’t remember the information from. I have many printed book but do not have room for them when I moved to Thailand. It was either my underwear or my book and my wife helped me with that choice. I know many of us have to make hard choices with our books. Being able to use this feature enables me to still feel like I have my library and also use the library I have with Logos. Many of you enjoy being able to carry your library wherever you go. God has blessed us to be a blessing to others. Being a blessing means to be able to use Logos so that we might carry the Bible training and resources we have everywhere and to everyone we can. We have been given the great commission. Logos gives all of us the ability to take the gospel with clarity to the ends of the earth. There is no excuse to have weak Bible theology when traveling as a missionary to seek those that have no access to the gospel.

My favorite feature by far is the Tag feature.

I had stated making a list in my Notes app on my iPhone of Bible verses, organizing them by theme/doctrine. That way (for example), when someone would doubt Jesus’ divinity or doubt that we are saved by grace alone, I could find verses quickly that are relevant to those things.

This was getting difficult and took a lot of effort to do, whereas with the Tag feature I can simply make a note anchored to a Bible verse and then Tag every single theme/doctrine/topic that is relevant to that verse!!

The tag feature has been incredibly helpful in witnessing for this reason. I love Logos and hope it’s around as long as I am around.

Logos has been one of the greatest blessings in my spiritual and academic journey. When I first started using it, I never imagined how much it would deepen my understanding of Scripture.

Through Logos, I discovered how to explore the Bible in its original languages, and how theology connects with the ancient Near Eastern context. This not only changed how I read the Word but also how I share it with others.

The Logos community has been a source of encouragement and learning for me. Every insight shared here reminds me that I’m not studying alone — we are a family passionate about God’s Word.

Today, I use Logos to create educational videos on my YouTube channel “Navegando por mi Extraña Biblia”, helping Spanish speakers discover the richness of Scripture just as Logos helped me. I’m deeply grateful for this tool and this community.

I'v been blessed since I discovered it in 2009.I came from Blue letter Bible and e-Sword. It has tremendously been a blessing by way of the free book of the month.. not only that but the many sales they have on Theology and commentaries and bibles and apologetics resources.. I've gone on a path to buy almost all the csb Bibles that are study based and so the same with the ESV translation.. just recently picking up both The NET Bible second edition (FULL NOTES) and the NET Bible with interlinear included.

recently I just learn how to sync Bible translations on the top on the bottom using the link set feature so that when I scroll on the top the bottom book that I'm following from scrolls along with me and having learned that, you can use it with commentaries makes it all the better.

I have a tablet I haven't been using and I cannot wait to boot up again and read from it..

I enjoy the insight tool. Logos is the best Bible platform I have ever had. I am not regret of a single penny I spent on Logos. I am so thankful for the accessibility of Logos' customer service and the webinar training.

My favorite tool without Logos are The Guides (Passage/Word Study). These automate the tedious parts of deep Bible study. You enter a verse, and the Passage Guide instantly gathers all your commentary entries, cross-references, ancient sources, and outline information for that passage. The Bible Word Study Guide does the same for a single word, showing its original language usage, where else it appears, how it's translated, and what your lexicons say. This has saved me countless hours from searching through physical books and has made bible study much more enjoyable, tasting the honey of The Word.

It may be a simple thing, but I love how I can link my bible, commentary and even a second or third bible translation, so they all scroll at the same time. Try doing that in paper-form, and you're constantly flipping pages on all the books. Makes it so easy to reference multiple books at once.

One of my favorite features has been the smart search feature. The ability to search through my own curated resources just as I would in a search program or language model has helped me to find some amazing gems within my library and helped to speed along my study or research many times over.
