I've upgraded and the downloading has finished but there is nothing in my library

Dear Forum,
I've purchased, downloaded and installed the latest Logos 4 application. There have been a number of downloads (somewhere in the neighbourhood of 6+ GB). The blue Logos icon in my menu bar has disappeared and it appears that nothing further is happening. When I go to my library 'Command+L' it bring up a window that is supposed to contain my library. In the banner of that window beside the input window it shows that there are '0 Resources'. Does anyone have any thoughts?
Thank you,
Nick

Welcome to forums. The lack of resources showing means that your library has not been indexed yet.
Is there a small Logos icon in the right of the Menu Bar? Hovering over it should tell you the state of your indexing.
Indexing should happen automatically and the first time will last for quite a long time, but if yours hasn't indexed you can force it to index by typing Rebuild Index in the command bar. This forces a complete reindex of your library and will restart the Indexer from the beginning if it is already running.
Every blessing

Hi Alan,
Thank you for your quick reply. Unfortunately this is not working either. it started the process once, but it did not last very long and now when I type this in again after a restart of Logos it no longer causes the Logos icon to appear in the Menu bar. Other thoughts?
Thank you,
Nick

Hi All,
Thank you for your input. I thought that I would delete the Logos 4 folder in the Application Support folder. Once I did that Logos began anew downloading the updates etc. I let it download and Logos opened again, this time with choices to choose the preferred Bible. It is still indexing, which I suspect will take some time, :-). It looks now though that everything is working properly. :-)
Thanks so much,
Nick

Yes, sounds like everything is working as it should now. Initial indexing does take a lo-o-ong time, but thereafter it's pretty quick.
Glad it's working for you.
Every blessing
