Does anyone else leave a target search window open like me? It's irritating that every time I go to that window it begins re-performing the search I did last time automatically. Is there a way to stop this and start from a blank field?
I have 3 windows active all the time -- (1) a primary texts window, (2) a search window, (3) and a "reference window." But when I go to the search window it doesn't re-perform the search. The old search is still there, but it doesn't re-run the search.

I have two Search tabs and one is a Target ie. Send Searches here. The query is performed when either tab is opened for the first time after loading L4, but not thereafter. I also observed the same behaviour with a search in a floating Window.
It might help if you upload a screen shot.
