In Romans 16:1 the english word is servant. the lemma word is diakonos G1249 and the Greek text word diakonon. The question is why is the Greek text word diakonon not in any Greek Lexicons but the lemma word diakonos is?
By definition, the lemma is the dictionary form of the word. The dictionary includes all forms of the word (think morphology) under the single lemma. In English this means you look for the lemma sit in the dictionary. Sit will include sit, sitting, sits, and sat.
"diakonon" is the accusative case of "diakonos", which is only a grammatical difference, not a difference in meaning of the word (a grammatical difference can of course mean a difference in the meaning of the phrase). English has lost most things like this, but Greek, German and many other languages still have them.
I would like, for my morning devotion, to open logos in a specific layout. This layout is different than what I use for research or study. Is it possible to open a specific named layout from Apple shortcuts? For my morning reading I open other apps besides Logos, but am looking for an action to open a specific layout…

I watched the video several times, and can mimic the example in the video, but when I try to develop another rule, nothing happens. I guess what I need to understand is exactly what elements are necessary to write the rule and where do…
After years of owning Logos, I am finally getting around to making my highlights and markups meaningful. I’m really bummed that you can’t edit the default Logos highlights a little more granularly, but I can work with creating custom palettes. I was able to create a yellow highlight that works, but when trying to create a…
Hello, We are currently using Proclaim for digital signage use only in our Children's Building. However, our volunteers are wondering if there is a way to quickly switch between the digital signage slides to show their weekly story video. Is this something that could only be done via the software? Or, they have an iPad…
First to say I’m a baby at this. And I’m British, so please forgive my spelling. I’ve been able to scan about a quarter of my actual books and they added themselves to my library. A good number failed, for which I was offered alternatives, and sometimes top of the list would be the actual book! Same cover, presumably same…
