The OS system standard for ALT+space is/was that it opens the system menu. It now opens a Copilot session. I don't know when the change was made but it is not reflected in Keyboard Shortcuts – Verbum Support or the Help documents.
Not a Logos/Verbum issue - It's not really a standard any more, and Microsoft has been ambiguous as well. It doesn't definitely open a Copilot session; it's available for user/third party tools to grab, so there is no way to definitely say what happens with Alt-Spacebar:
Microsoft still officially says this:

But for any apps installed on your PC that might utilize this keyboard shortcut, Windows will register whichever app is launched first on your PC and running in the background as the app that is invoked when using Alt + Space,” says Microsoft.
So if Copilot is last installed, it captures Alt-Spacebar. For me, it's ChatGPT. Microsoft Power Toys will capture it too, from my experience.
If you don't install anything else that captures it, Alt-Spacebar acts as before. So like I said, not a Logos/Verbum issue.
