Where Is Rosie?

Does anyone have contact with MVP Rosie? She was always extremely helpful with the software. I know there were a few unkind comments toward her and she left the forums, but has she come back? If not, will she?

I remember the final thread before she exited. I completely understood. I remember her saying something to the effect that these were not her people, and I understood that, too. A bunch of us probably felt that way at one time or another.

I'm not in contact with her. But it does seem to me that the nastiness levels are a little less than in former days. And though I know she doesn't write anything here, I often wonder if she reads it.

There are many people who have been helpful on the forums and in my opinion, Rosie was always near the top. I hope that she returns.

Not sure why anyone would/could be nasty to Rosie. No call for that. I never saw those comments directed toward her.

Rosie, I you are reading, you are missed. You are a valuable contributor and I always liked reading your posts.

They don't have to be directed at Rosie directly. Objections to the theology of the books one suggests or supports is sufficient to make one feel unwelcome. Or even more frequently, the assumption that Logos is an evangelical ministry not a broad Christian-serving corporation. In the thread that drove Rosie out again, I don't think the "perpetrators" were necessarily aware they had crossed a line. Rather, it was the common case of people speaking as came naturally because they normally speak to like-minded people and have no experience dealing with a broader world. Coming from a hometown of 125 counting Grandma's goats, I understand the problem of learning to speak to a broader world … and as a non-evangelical, I sympathize with Rosie's choice to withdraw.

Rosie was always a good MVP on here. She always answered my questions with proficiency and graciousness. I hope she'll return. I miss her interactions! She's always been an excellent Logos user and a wealth of knowledge and a true example of an MVP on here.

A while back, she mentioned on here that she received some ads about a sawmill from Amazon, so I was hoping her time not on the Logos community was temporary. I had hoped she had decided to finally buy and learn the sawmill, and once she was finished using it, we'd hear from her again (I'm of course being 100% humorous and hoping she'll read this post, remember some of the fun times, and join us again, as I really miss her interactions! The sawmill post gave me a much-needed laugh to brighten a stressful day in my life back then.).
