Holy Bible: International Standard Version
How soon will this newly completed translation get to Logos do you think? I've appreciated the little I've read so far in the Logos New Testament version.

I am sure no one on the forums knows the answer to this question (with the exception of some of the Logos employees who frequent them). My suggestion would be to keep watching the pre-pub list.
I can tell you that they are currently doing final editing and ironing out typos and punctuation in the Old Testament (ISV foundation, not Logos). Anybody who wants to lend a hand can download a free MS Word copy of the OT from www.isv.org and submit typos via the e-mail address on their website. I'm sure they'd appreciate it.
I was under the impression that the print version wouldn't be available until mid to late Spring 2011. My Guess is an electronic version for Logos would come well after that date... but that is speculation on my part.

What is the translation philosophy of the folks creating the ISV? What Greek texts did they use to base the N.T. on?
They provide a fairly detailed explanation of their philosophy, manuscript sources, etc. at their site - http://isv.org/index.htm. I spent quite a bit of time looking through it today. I downloaded the Word version (.docm) of the Bible and went to some of the passages I like to use to check a translation. It seems pretty good by my criteria - can't wait until it's in Logos (and I can get a full print version).
