I tried a number of examples to get the SA to answer the questions about early church fathers writings on the authenticity of the gospels, without finding an explicit way to label those books. This question was pretty direct, and the answer still came from summary books instead of source writings:
Whereas just using ChatGPT with a similar general question, it referenced specific writings of Eusebius, Irenaeus, Origen, Papias, Clement, Tertullian, and the Muratorian Canon from public domain to develop a long answer.
To me it's very interesting that SA seems to highly prefer summaries of what is said, instead of focusing first on the source of what was said when available.
