This is one of those things that has been driving me crazy for a while, but I haven't had time to make a report.
In the Sermon Editor, if I want to insert Scripture, I create a new line where I want the editable text block to go, type a scripture reference, and Ctrl+Alt+Enter to insert the scripture block into that line. The Scripture text block is inserted where the cursor was (GOOD), however, there is an unnecessary blank line added after the Scripture Block which I then have to delete (BAD).
However, when I copy/paste from a resource into sermon editor, the behavior is the opposite. I create a blank line where I want the editable text block to go. I copy/paste from the resource into this blank line. Unexpectedly, a blank line is inserted before the editable text block which was just created (BAD), and the cursor ends up at the end of the editable text block (GOOD).
Expected behavior: I always expect editable text blocks to be inserted where my cursor is, and the cursor to end up at the end of the inserted text block without inserting a new line before or after (unless it's necessary because the line wasn't blank to begin with, in which case the editable text block would have to go on a new line).
Please fix!
