If you're a teacher, what is your reason for teaching?

Reasons I teach:

1. The challenge of it - understanding what the student understands and then creating a path for them to move forward.
2. The joy of it - sharing a sense of awe with my students as we learn how God's world works.
3. The deep value of it - working daily with souls that are eternal, pointing them to the One who is worthy and teaching them to look to Him and worship.
