Since BibleWorks went belly up in 2018, I have invested over $50,000 in building a killer Logos system on my computer. After getting through the steep learning curve, I've come to really appreciate the features and flexibility in the software. I've even found the switch to a subscription format more economical than the old scheme.
However, in the last 15 months or so I've seen Logos do some things that I found disheartening. The "dynamic" toolbar is truly a waste of time (adding hotkeys to all the tabbed features would be a great help, but hasn't happened), and the switch to Klarna is truly disturbing to me (having the old payment plan method as a sort of backup if you call Logos directly seems rather devious, since, the last time I checked, no mention is made of that option on the website). Further, the forum seems to have devolved into either a place for Logos to puff their new features and ideas, or a place for users to gripe about those features and services.
Consequently, while I will not stop using Logos, purchasing books and updates (unless they go out of business and leave me with unusable software), I am distancing myself from the company in every way except for future purchasing transactions. I just don't need the frustration.
