Revised LEB?
Any news on the Revised LEB? They hoped it would be out last week...
Hall Harris has revised and updated the Lexham English Bible (LEB) New Testament to be a translation of the SBLGNT. If you are a Logos user, and you have the LEB (which is also freely available if you don't have it yet), then the update will be available to you as well. If you use Logos 4, the update will come automatically if it hasn't already. If you have a Logos 4 package that includes a reverse interlinear to the LEB, that will be updated (to reflect the SBLGNT) as well. We hope for this update to be released by the end of this week.

I believe we're waiting on a service update to Logos 4 Mac. Without it, the revised LEB (and reverse interlinear) would be behave similarly the SBLGNT, which has had some navigation issues on the current Logos 4 Mac.
I think once L4Mac service update is available, we will have the revised LEB (revised to be a translation of the SBLGNT instead of the NA27) should be available. And other stuff too. (Hope to mention more about the "other stuff" soon … )

Does the revised supplant or supplement the original? I ask because this because comparing the two side-by-side would be informative to how these text-critical decisions affect translation.

Yep, the SBL Greek text is about unusable at this point. Looking forward to the service update.
Guess I am not sure why Logos releases resources which are not ready for use on the only software that they run on. Seems they could have waited another week or so on a resource they will not make money on to just release with any updates to the software itself.

Our original plan was to release on Nov. 1 (today) but because the cat got out of the bag a few days early, we felt it was best to release the SBLGNT and Apparatus when we did since people were looking to SBLGNT.com for the resource and information.
Not optimal, but it's what happened. Life rarely goes exactly as planned.

Yes, the revision is a revision and update, not a new resource. Where there is significant textual evidence for readings different than those of translated by the LEB (so, readings from MSS represented by UBS/NA and also by other editions) there are footnotes indicating an alternate.
Also note (based on a forum post I just made) that the Lexham interlinear version of SBLGNT (!) is different than the Lexham interlinear version of the NA/UBS text; so one could do some basic comparison there.
