I'm on Beta channel. Had to use Task Manager (Windows) to kill it multiple times. Tried Ctrl+click; same results.
How do I get Logos to restart again?
Restart your PC, then start Logos with keeping CTRL pressed (simply ctrl-clicking will not do!). This will probably ask you to Log in, and it will start to an empty layout - this usually fixes things.
If not, you will find diagnostic logs at the defined place (see http://wiki.logos.com/diagnostic_logging ) and you can upload those here (or send them to Customer Service if you prefer) and people may be able to help you further.

Been seeing this numerous times recently. Somewhat annoying, mostly because restarting my PC is a "walk away for 10 minutes and get more coffee" moment :)
Since I first discovered it, my go-to solution now for just about everything (hanging, crashing, not opening) is Repair and it has worked every time. Almost always, I encounter these issues with the Beta installation.
But I've been on the Beta program for years and have not had hanging splash screen / non-starting app / non-finishing update issues until recently (probably the v46 betas)…
If multiple users are experiencing this type of issues during beta updates, maybe Logos should investigate whether some underlying destabilizing bug has been introduced in recent months?
