Often, when I want to make a note, Logos will suggest notebooks that are not mine, so I can't add to them.
in the following screen shot, only one of the notebooks suggested is mine.
We need to see the list of your Notebooks as well to have any chance of identifying the problem.
@MJ. Smith
Notebooks that I have created are: Greek, Hebrew, English, Latin, German, Aramaic, French, and notes (small n)
@Larry Craig I really need to see a screen shot of the list of notebooks. I need to be able to see that what I understand you to be saying is the same as what you are actually seeing/saying. Either I am misunderstanding you or you have uncovered a bug that I would be unable to recreate but could predict the reason for.
I have downloaded a lot of public notebooks. I didn't create them, so I can't edit them. I can't add a note to them.
If I gave you a screen shot of all my notebooks, they are included.
I am saying Logos should not suggest notebooks to me that I cannot edit.
OK I was misunderstanding you. Not all notebooks that you download from others are locked from you updating them. Have you checked that the suggested notebooks are in fact locked? The lock symbol on this MPSeminar notebook is an example of a locked file. No lock icon means the notebook can be updated.
I opened a few of the suggested notebooks. One had all locks on the notes, but it provides the tools to create a note. Another just has a blank screen with locks on all the notes.
Okay, report it as a bug including two screenshots - one of the context menu suggesting the notebook, the other showing that the same notebook is locked.
@MJ. Smith thank you
