Download only 100?

Friends, I just purchased a new iPad and have downloaded the Logos Mobile app. When attempting to download my library, the app told me that I could only download 100 at a time. In the past, I could download them all and work on something else while they downloaded. I have 9000 plus volumes. 100 at a time, especially checking 100 per download will take an enormous amount of time. Is there no longer any way to download them all in one big event?

Hi Jeff,

I completely understand the frustration! The 100-resource limit on the mobile app is a relatively recent safeguard to prevent the app from crashing or corrupting the database when trying to index thousands of books at once.

However, there is a workaround to download everything in one go without tapping 9,000 checkboxes. You just need to use the Logos Desktop app (on your Mac or PC) to "push" the command to your iPad.

Here is how to do it:

1. Open Logos on your computer.
2. Open your Library (Ctrl+L or Cmd+L).
3. Select all your resources by pressing Cmd+A (Mac) or Ctrl+A (Windows).
4. Open the Information Pane by clicking the "i" icon (usually at the top right of the Library window).
5. In the Information Pane, look for the "Devices" section at the bottom.
6. Find your iPad in the list and check the box next to it.

This tells the Logos server to sync your entire library to that specific device. Next time you open the app on your iPad (while on Wi-Fi), it should automatically begin queuing up all 9,000+ resources for download.
