Waiting patiently for this feature while I squint at my 17" Macbook Pro at 1920x1200... :-) Any chance we can get an ETA (ballpark) on this appearing. Are we talking end of 2010, early 2011, end of 2011 or mid 2012, for example.
We were working internally on a prototype but discovered a crashing bug in Apple's layout system (http://community.logos.com/forums/p/23056/175967.aspx#175967). We reported the bug to Apple and received a reply that this is a known issue which they have yet to fix.
As a consequence, we're having to rework some of the text rendering code. That rework should appear during the 4.2 beta cycle, which will start after we push 4.0b to stable. Once we get the new text layout engine working, then we can add the font scaling support. I'm hoping that we'll see something before the end of the year in the 4.2 betas.
