After you have used Logos 4 for any period of time, you have a lot of Visual Filters, Passage Lists, Syntax Searches, Notes, etc. As a result the File menu becomes very cluttered.
I really would like to see 2 or 3 improvements to organize this better:
1. A file type selector, similar to the Open sub-menu has. So if I want to open a Passage List, I would select Passage List from this menu and only the Passage Lists would be listed. I realize I can type in "Syntax" in the Find box to view only Syntax searches, but it is faster to just click on the type of file you want to open, as you could in Logos 3 and most other programs.
2. An option to sort the items alphabetically or by access date (as it is now).
3. Perhaps a column view option, similar to the Library. This would allow you to click on a header to sort, such as Name, Access Date, Resource (e.g. for Passage Lists, Syntax Searches, etc. If this is implemented, the display format should be remembered from session to session.
