How can I link monographs?

I did research on a verse since I wanted to quickly access a specific book which I knew referred to the verse, but it was not listed in my commentaries. So then I sorted it by author, but the author's name didn't appear. So I then opened the book from my library and searched for the verse in the book and it occurred 40x.

I noticed that the book is a "monograph" which I gather means "not tagged," I guess. With this all said, I know I can create notes to force the book to appear at certain verses, but is there a way I can tag the book myself so that if I do research on the verses it mentions it will show up in my commentaries or listed under the author when I do research? Or is creating notes the best / only option?

You could use the Cited By tool

In the screenshot below, I have a Bible and the tool linked so when I am studying a particular verse the tool is open at that verse as well. As you can see, the monograph on the left references that verse and this is shown in the tool on the right

(If I was using this for actual study I would put the book(s) into a Collection and just add that Collection as a section into the tool)

Or you could achieve something similar using a Collections section in a Passage Guide

Hi @Graham Criddle, thank you for clarifying this. Tbh, it took me a minute since I had never used the cited by tool before since I didn't understand what the point of it was, but I just tried it and that works well. I created a tiny collection with the one book I want, and as I did, there was this little checkbox asking me if I wanted to include it in parallels. Could you clarify what this means?

Select the Show in parallel books check box if you want the Collection available in Parallel Resource Sets.
