How do I create a layout with three panels and designate those windows?

I would like to create a layout with three panels: the left as my exegetical guide, the middle as my Greek NT, and the right as my English Bible, with all three linked. I don't even know how to open a new window. Any help for the pathetic?

The Mac videos is missing the Layout Management video. I think that one would be more helpful in this situation.
