I’ve noticed a possible bug in the Sermon Editor.
When I write sermons in Chinese, the character count is not calculated correctly.
However, when I write in English, the word count works as expected.
This makes it difficult to track sermon length for Chinese preaching and translation work.
This may be due to how word count is calculated.
English word count is typically based on spaces between words, which works correctly in the Sermon Editor.
However, Chinese does not use spaces, and length is normally measured by character count, not word count.
It appears that the Sermon Editor is still applying a space-based counting logic to Chinese text, which results in incorrect or inconsistent character counts.
For users who preach or write sermons in Chinese, accurate character counting is important for sermon length, translation, and delivery timing.
