Expanding a panel

On the desktop app, I find that when I get a panel filling half of a window (now with a "+" on the other side), it is difficult to get rid of that blank area. If I want to have the panel fill the entire window I have a hard time grabbing the frame so that I can drag it across. Is there a hotkey or some other way to have that panel fill the entire window without grabbing the one-pixel wide frame? Is there some trick that I'm missing? Or can someone make the frame two pixels wide?

Hi @Pastor Luke ,

There'sre two ways to open a resource or tool in a full panel :

Open any resources → Right click the title bar of the said resource → Open in a floating window.
Click on the Layout icon → Select the first Rectangle icon & it will only show one tile layout.

Updated : Additional steps for future convenience

There's a feature for us to save the preferred layout so that we don't have to always set it manually :

Click on the Layout icon → Save as named layout → Type the name for example : 1. One Tile or Favorite (anything works)

2. Click on 3 vertical dots icon to show another menu → Click on Program Settings

3. At Startup Open to → Click the dropdown arrow → Click on 1. Bible only (or the layout you've saved in Step 1) → Close after as it autosave.

So after you exit the Logos application, the next time you open Logos again, it should open that Layout.

At top of the Layouts menu, click on the appropriate icon:

the first will do as you request. The second will split the window.

Also, at least on my Mac, the frame border of resource panels is indeed impossible to grab. But the frame border in the resource menu-line is wider … easily grabbed.

Adding the new tab button to the canvas rather than leaving is with a blank layout is one of the most annoying features of the software. It takes a lot of mucking around to get custom layouts exactly how you want them resulting in it taking more time to setup a workspace. It is overkill by faithlife in user Hand holding. We don’t need these new tab buttons getting in the way as they do.
