Repeatedly editing a forum post ⇒ inet_pton(): Argument #1 ($ip) must not contain any null bytes

I tend to make a post and then serially refine it. Tonight, I could only make a few edits before an error started to block further saves:

inet_pton(): Argument #1 ($ip) must not contain any null bytes

Tonight this happened with one of my own initial posts and subsequently with a comment I'd made in another user's thread.

In the case of my own post, I then also noticed that the double quotes in my title became " [I was able to fix that the next morning, as noted in my comment, below]

I've found that the problem seems to resolve temporally if I wait long enough. How long is enough?

For the comment post, after maybe an hour I was able to make one more edit before the problem recurred.
After that edit, an attempt to edit the initial post of my own thread triggered the error again
But the next morning, I was able to edit the initial post as I'd desired the previous night.

Hypothesis from an LLM: did the successes occur after each error-inducing session had expired?
