You are right. The text indicators (red circles) are not syncing properly at all.
This has been reported in another thread.
Logos will need to look into this.

We used to be able to restore smooth scrolling of the Bible text by tapping the three dots in the upper right corner, selecting Columns, then marking "None." Now I have lost smooth scrolling but that fix is not available after recent "updates." How do we restore smooth scrolling now?
