What are your top tips for using AI smart search for my library? E.g limiting it's search

What top tips do you have for using AI search better?

Are they ways to ask the AI search so that it can curate the resources it searches from?

I'm figuring out ways to refine my AI search. E.g. Books which I don't want AI to search and give answers from it, e.g. some strongly Catholic books. I've bought base bundles, including Verbum . However, there are books whose answers I would prefer to leave out.. I'm wondering if phrases like this work.
e.g. "Give me information Martin Luthor in the Reformation. Leave out Catholic sources"

Forcing AI to confirm your biases is more difficult than it is for a precise search. When it "broadens" the search to pick up the articles that use a different vocabulary, it may pick up articles that are outside the topic as you intended. And it lacks the judgment to define "Catholic sources" as you intend. Do you mean:

documents written by a Catholic author
official documents of the Catholic church
documents historical preserved by the Catholic church - the Bible, the Church Fathers
documents presenting distinctly Catholic doctrines (if there are any that are uniquely Catholic)
documents presenting what you have been taught are distinctly Catholic documents …

Your best bet is to create a collection that excludes books you consider Catholic sources and run a smart book search on them. I do something similar in that I have my own all collection which includes all books I consider worth checking it …

if you are referring to smart search as opposed to Study Assistant, it’s possible to select the resources that Logos uses to perform the search. If you don’t yet have your resources organized, you can even rely upon community tags. You can also download “resource collections” from Logos’ public document database - https://documents.logos.com/ . If you want to limit the resources by author, you can try typing the last name of the author and Logos will generally get it right.
