Passage List with multiple versions

I have a list of verses which I wanted to add to a Passage List, however, the list of verses are all in different versions. I first got my verse in the NIV and made a Passage List. Then I opened the KJV to copy the next, and dragged it over to the Passage List, but the Passage List copied it following the NIV, even though I had copied and dragged the verse from the KJV.

With all that said, how do I collect a group of verses in different versions?

A Passage List doesn't associate references with a particular version.

So, while you can show multiple versions in a Passage List, you can't have different versions for different verses.

Hi @Graham Criddle, I see, thank you for clarifying this. My ultimate goal isn't a Passage List, but rather a list of verses in different versions. The one thing coming to mind is a Sermon, as I think I can show the verse in full there and change the version displayed of each verse (if I understand correctly. I haven't actually tried this, it just seemed to be the case once while I created a lecture). Would that be my best option? Or are there other ideas you have in mind?

Not exclusively, but one of my goals was creating a Memory List, if that helps, as maybe that functions differently than a Passage List, I'm not sure.

That would certainly work - but a note might be easier depending on what you want to do with it.

Memorization features in Logos are based on Passage Lists, so have the same constraints.

Hi @DMB, thanks for the idea, but I don't think that will work. I had actually forgotten about canvas, but now that I am looking at it, it seems to be set up like a poster, and I have about 400 verses in different versions. It also deleted most of the reference. (So as an example, "Gen 1:1 NIV In the beginning…" got copied in Canvas as "1 In the beginning…"). Perhaps there is a way for it to not chop off half the reference, but even if I could fix this, I think I would run into the amount of verses I have. Also, there isn't a way to then turn this into a Memory List from a Canvas, correct?

Hi @Graham Criddle, I am sorry that I didn't see what you said before I just responded. Anyway, if memory lists are locked into one specific version, that for sure won't work. I admit that seems to be a strange constraint, as I don't think it is super uncommon for people to know verses in a variety of versions.

I was simply thinking of creating a note and then copy / pasting verses from different versions into it - like the example below

Hi @Graham Criddle, thank you for the screenshot. In my mind I was adding the verses as anchors, but pasting it like your screenshot would work well. If the note won't panic with several hundred verses, I think this is my best option. Thank you for the idea.
