Suggest that on the prepubs summary page (main listing) that the "Pre-Order" and "Quick Buy" buttons be automatically replaced by the "Date Ordered" for those who have already placed a pre-order for the item. "Graying out" the Pre-order button may seem to accomplish the concept, but from a human factors point of view it is not sending the right message.
Replaceing the buttons with the date pre-ordered would avoid using up more real estate/page room AND give customers the necessary re-assurance that Logos remembers they have already placed an order AND let customers see at a glance more affirmingly, the products for which they have NOT yet placed a pre-order.
We had that pre-order date information on the old pages, and with the number of items on pre-pub and the way NEW items can appear anywhere in the list, the current system makes it more difficultto use Logos.com itself to keep track of what has been pre-ordered and what we were only seriously thinking about. No way we have time to click each title individually to verify when we pre-ordered it.........
