trying to move my hebrew bible into clauses, and for some reason the new line highlighting doesn't seem to work. Everything else does, but not this one particular highlight feature. anyone else have this problem, or know how to fix it?
thanks
Would you mind posting a screenshot? (Cmd+Shift+4 will allow you to grab a screenshot and save it to your desktop).
in my experience you will need 1 visual filter file for the highlight, and a second file (identical criteria) for the newline before & after
ok, here is a screen shot. Just for illustration I used several other highlighters on the verses above, and then highlighted the text, and applied the filter. When I clicked the "new line..." button the highlighting changed slightly, so it seems to be doing something, but the text didn't move at all. Also I tried in the new SBL GNT and the NIV, and it worked fine.
thanks for your help
2744.logos screen grab.tiff
it could be due to the width of your panel, if you change the width does it become clearer
the red ticks are line which appear to have been appled correctly, I am puzzled as to why you think its broken..
right, those are all good. the one I am having issues with is the one that is highlighted right now. right at verse 5. I was trying to do the new line before and after highlighter, which should move the text, and isolate the highlighted word on its own line. It is only that one specific highlighter that seems to be broken
not sure my friend.. I know I am using the WIN version but it seems to be working fine here..
You will have to get someone with a Mac to verify if it is a Mac specific problem, but the fact the othere 4 ar correct is odd, you would have thought it would have done none or all
Worked fine for me on the latest beta.
It's kind of strange, it seems to be doing something, just not what it is supposed to. I suppose I could uninstall and reinstall, then I will just have to make new filters and all that stuff. not the end of the world, but I'd rather not.
just highlight the block and erase, then retry.. hopefully it will work for you
yeah, I have done that many times, it's not just in this place, it doesn't matter where in the resource I try it, it's the same thing. It's just this one particular filter.
thanks for your help though
