New logos.com: Ordered prepiub but Pre-Order button did not gray out

I ordered A Manual of Palestinian Aramaic Texts by the Quick Buy button, got the confirmation page, got the email confirmation, but the buttons are still active on the prepub page for that one (others are correct, I am logged in), which allows me to mistakenly order it again. It has been about 5 minutes and I have refreshed the page with no change.

I was referring specifically to Pre-Pubs. Was it a Pre-Pub?

As indicated by the gray buttons, we're working to solve this problem for all purchases.

I don't know your architecture specifically, but in the MSFT world you can invalidate the cache immediately which forces a refetch of the page, which will produce the proper state of the buttons. The user is moving back to that page anyway, the refetch won't likely even be perceived.

On rare occasion I wish we could manually override the double-purchase safety mechanisms. When I first ordered The Harvard Classics & Fiction (April 18, 2008) I would have loved to lock in several copies to give as Christmas gifts to extended family, but it was not possible in the system at that time.

I ordered a pre-pub then hit the refresh button when I saw that it did not turn color and that fixed it for me.
