Our friends on several different biblioblogs often comment on different book releases by publishing houses on different levels of academic and pastoral resources for Christians, the ministry, and biblical academia.
I am curious to know if anybody here still actively buys conventional paper books or do you just sit there, like me, and anxiously wait for Logos to pop another title, set, or resource out on pre-pub?
I said, "like me", but last Christmas I spent $300 on some monographs, some in paperback and some hardback.
What are your leanings? What are your concerns?
Quite frankly, it would have to be something special, like monographs, for me to embark out and buy print books. I even have four or five titles out of the WBC on my shelf because I thought I would like to have a few for "take it with me" availability. Well, that was five years ago and we have full mobility now with Logos, so I don't have a need for those anymore.
